A well thought out jutsu that only someone with the intelligence of Shikamaru can come up with. Shikamaru lets his knife absorb his shadow jutsu and is able to target an enemie's shadow allowing him to pull off his Kagemane no Jutsu. With this jutsu he gets over the weakness of having to be close to the enemy.
