The two doujutsu: "Amaterasu" and its ability to show "Things of substance and light", and "Tsukiyomi" and its ability to show "Things of without substance and darkness" are only usable when the user is able to use Mangekyou Sharingan, or heaven's eyes, eyes that can see the origin of why everything is as the way it is. Only those that have been able to use both of these doujutsu can use the power of the malevolent god "Susanoo". The chakra that has taken form appears as a powerful looking war god that won't stop until all enemies in front of this fierce spirit are destroyed.

The reason "Susanoo" is prided on having flawless offense and defense is because of -- The "Spiritual Weapons" that he has in both of his hands. In his right hand is the "Totsukano Tsurugi" which can slash any enemy. In his left lies the "Yatano Kagami" which can reflect any attack. Physical forms, spiritual forms, ninjutsu, and physical attacks lose all meaning when faced against the power of god.
